Our History

POS Taxes is a family owned business that has been around for three generations helping individuals and small businesses of all sizes with their accounting, taxes and much more.

My grandfather, Obdulio Lopez, Sr., owned and operated a profitable accounting business in Ciego de Avila, Cuba all his life. My father, Edelman Lopez, Sr., and his three brothers, Obdulio Jr., Fernando and Eduardo, all grew up working in the business with my grandmother, Zeida Lopez, the family matriarch.

Once my grandfather passed, she took over then emigrated to the US by herself in 1965 and brought us all to the United States one by one. Dad continued the family business and in 2001 I joined him in his practice.

I believe our talents and dedication have changed the lives of many of our clients by eliminating the burden of IRS debt and getting their lives back on track. We are fortunate to have clients from all nationalities and states. Many have been our customers since they started with my dad 25 plus years ago.

Dad passed last year in October 2020, but his legacy lives in me and with all those that are part of our wonderful team at Professional Office Services of Broward Inc.
